I love to have adventures in urban areas and most of the time its overseas. Some years back, I went to Taipei, Taiwan with my friends for a holiday, as it was our dream to visit it so we booked the tickets to Taipei!
Our main aim there is to visit various places which are famous among tourists as it was a small urban adventure holiday. To start off, I would like to say that Taipei is somewhat similar to Bangkok in terms of the traffic, crowd, street food stalls etc. It’s just that Taipei is leaning towards more of Chinese culture in most areas. Let me show you guys some photos before I continue.
I love shooting at the streets as everything there seems different to me (I think this is normal whenever you are overseas) especially their buildings, as I love shooting things which have a Chinese feel in design. Walking around isn’t that hard, as Taiwanese people are friendly and easy to talk to. One thing which we did everyday was EAT, EAT, and EAT! The food is just so hard to resist!
The photo with a toilet bowl on their signboard is actually a restaurant, which serve dishes in toilet bowls as you would in bowls and plates hahaha…
There is a place which I really love out of the places that I visited. It is called “Fisherman’s Wharf”, a place to enjoy the sea breeze, the sight of sea life, have some cooling ice dessert, and walking though a bridge called Lovers’ Bridge! It can be a very relaxing place and a romantic place for couples!
Last place worth mentioning would be the Lomography Gallery Store Taipei. It is one of the nicest so far that I’ve been to. It has two different levels and a very huge Lomowall! That is the first store that I visited and ’til now it is still the nicest one to me!
So this is my Taipei visit and I hope to visit Taipei again!
