Understanding the Viewfinder of the LC-Wide for Great Close-Ups

The LC-W has a super wide-angle lens, though the viewfinder isn't as wide. Here, I bring you a tip to make sure your close-up photos are taken from a close enough distance.

The picture above came out much better than I thought. When I took it, I wanted the sign to fill the whole picture. When I looked through the viewfinder there was only white. I was even closer than 40 cm, which is the limit for the close-up focus of the LC-Wide.

So, my tip is to get very, very, very, close. An arm’s length is the further you should be from whatever you are taking a picture of; if you can’t touch it, you are too far. This means that self_portraits come out brilliantly—whether on a boat, in the water, or out in the streets!
