In honor of Marilyn Monroe's birthday week, we here at Lomography will be ending our celebration of it with a bang...through dun, dun, dun - a rumble! We know you guys love a good rumble - so do we, and so with one of the most well-loved blondes as inspiration, here's what you gotta do to indulge in your own blonde ambition!
Ready to score yourself some piggies? Well this one is actually quite easy, all you need to do is submit a photo of your favorite blonde – yourself in a blonde wig, your mom, your better half, Barbie…taken with your favorite film camera and you’re good to go. Of course, you can submit any photo with a blonde-haired subject in it, but the challenge here is to make it interesting enough to catch out judges’ fancy. Whichever way you choose to do it is fine with us as long as you stick to film! Good luck everyone!
Prize(s): 3 winners of 10 Piggies. All winners will receive a special award badge straight to their LomoHomes

Upload Limit: 1 photo
Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
Meta data must be completed (camera, film, location & 3 tags)
We asked some of New York’s hottest designers to lend their talent in designing some of our La Sardina DIY cameras, and we are very excited to share with you Steen of Steen Drawings. Steen is a New York based illustrator who likes to create her own fantasy world and creates stories from her wild imagination. Take a look at Steen's wonderful work and get inspired to do your own DIY project.
We love your photographs so much that we believe that you deserve a chance to have your works displayed to a group of collectors. We believe that all you guys out there are talented individuals, so express your love for photography by sharing your best shots.
Do you love Lomography? Do you live in Tehran? Do you love to party? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we've got great news for you! Our new Lomography Embassy Store in Tehran has a new location and to celebrate, we're throwing a rip-roaring party to kick off the opening. You and all your friends are cordially invited to celebrate with us this Friday!
New York is full of interesting people. Everywhere you look you, will find good-looking, smart, and powerful characters; models, actresses, entrepreneurs, managers, artists. Because of this sometimes it can be a little intimidating for a regular guy in the Big Apple to step up, talk to the girl you like, or make new friends. So here are a few tips, courtesy of the Lomo'Instant, that will help you to break the ice.
Being a part of Fashion Week is not easy. You need to know high-profile personalities and e-mail tons of guys to be on the Fashion Week A-list. So when Christopher came to Lomography with the idea of being our official Fashion Week correspondent (and after showing us his stunning fashion portfolio), we were very excited to work with him.
Everybody loves a cup of tea to start the day. Meanwhile, we lomographers love to do little photo sessions to start our day. Both are really fun, but a wise person once said that we should try to combine two of our favorite things sometimes and see how it comes out. So, here we go!
For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
I backed the Kickstarter project for the Lomo’Instant earlier this year and was thrilled to receive it last week. I love how the camera naturally encourages you to experiment with its different features, whether it’s through flashing your multiple exposures with different colors or trying different creative techniques after your shots has been ejected. Here are a few tips from what I’ve discovered from playing with the camera so far (and a couple of tips I want to try out in future)!
The skies were busy with magic today — or maybe it was just the solar eclipse that caused all that ruckus? Decked out in space-age goggles and other various sun viewing paraphernalia, groups of people gathered as the moon moved between the sun and the earth this morning across Europe. Only a few lucky folks witnessed the total eclipse, and here at Vienna HQ, the greatest moment of the partial eclipse happened at 10:45 A.M. and lasted only a few minutes. We stopped everything we were doing to join the sky watchers crew and share in this astonishing moment. Check out these brilliant solar-inspired shots to celebrate the occasion!
Have you ever tried going lens-less when taking a photo? Try shooting with ONDU Pinhole Cameras and see what it's like to take photos through a tiny pinhole. Check out these lovely shots taken by Lomographers; if you do have some ONDU pinhole photos of your own, upload and tag them accordingly so that we can see them!
We love sharing photos! So, with the recent release of the beloved Lomo'Instant camera, we thought it would be a great idea to look at some of the best ways to share your instants with the world. Rather than letting them collect dust on a shelf or stay hidden away in a drawer somewhere, why not let everyone else in on your superb instant creations? Check out these 5 awesome ways you can do just that!
