Canadian Vignettes: Coast to Coast Rumble

Want to show off your Lomography photos in our Gallery? Want to prove you have the best analogue photo in all of Canada? We want your Canadian vignettes that represent your city from coast to coast! Show us what your city means to you and submit your best photos. In this competition, the 13 finalists' images will be part of our National Exhibition for the month of July.

In celebration of Canada day, this is a chance for us Canadians to show off our country. Show Lomography what your city is made of! There will be one winner chosen from each Canadian province and territory as Canada’s best for a national exhibition in the Lomography Gallery Store located in our bustling city of Toronto. From this pool of winners, an overall champion will be selected as the top photograph in Canada and claim victory among the rest!

Details

  • Submission deadline is June 14th.
  • Images must represent Canadian places only.
  • Upload Limit: 5 photos
  • Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px.
  • Meta data must be completed (camera, film, location & 3 tags).

Judging

All submissions will be shown on the Lomography Gallery Store Toronto Facebook page by province and territory. The photo with the most “likes” per location will be declared one of the finalists. The 13 finalists’ photographs will be exhibited at the Lomography Gallery Store Toronto and compete for top spot on the Lomography Canada Facebook page.

1st Place Winner will receive:

  • One Lomography Camera
  • One Lomography Mixed Film Pack
  • We will interview you and feature your work on the Analogue Lifestyle section on Lomography.ca
  • 20 piggy points

2nd and 3rd Place Winners will receive:

  • One Lomography Film Pack each
  • 10 piggy points each

Note: If you become a finalist please be prepared to have a high resolution scan of your image ready by June 22nd, 300dpi (size TBA).
