How to Make a LomoWall Collage of Your Vertical Spinner 360 Photos

7

The Spinner 360 is known for its super cool panoramic shots. But, have you ever tried using this camera vertically and getting a different type of 360...from top to bottom...to top?

The first time I tried using the Spinner 360, I was thoroughly impressed by the shots this camera produced. No wonder this camera won a European Consumer’s Choice Award! But anyway, as I was uploading my shots onto my LomoHome, I noticed that my vertical 360 shots didn’t display as nicely as I had hoped. It was expected given the elongated, upright format of the shot. That didn’t sit well with me and I wanted to display it in a better way. Luckily, we have the super ability to create LomoWalls right here in our Lomohomes! So this is what I did:

1. Choose your favourite vertical Spinner 360 photo.

I chose this self-portrait — one of my favourites.

2. Create a Lomowall.

For this specific collage, drag out the different parts of the lomowall so that you get 10 equal sections across.

3. Place your image into the Lomowall.

You only need the one image. Start with placing the first image on the very left and line up the bottom of that image to the bottom of the wall. Move across the wall and place the same image in all the spots, but shift the image down a little bit each time, creating a bit of a step.

4. And Voila!

I really liked the effect you get from creating this collage. It’s a super neat way to display your 360 photos. It also works great for an impressive Facebook cover photo!

The Spinner 360° goes beyond the confines of standard panoramic cameras. See everything around you (literally!), and be swept away by truly spectacular results. Head to our Online Shop and get your own Spinner 360°!

Abandoned Scotland is an amazing group based in... you guessed it, Scotland! They stealthily get into little-known locations to photograph amazing but forgotten and empty spaces. We spoke with Alistair, the head of the group, and provided him with a Sprocket Rocket to see how the panoramic wonder would capture some of Scotland's urban landscapes.
