Boris the Pass-On-Lomo went for Coffee with Lizepietje

Lize aka Lizepietje couldn't help herself and she fell for Boris' charms. She took him home with her and for two whole weeks they shared her life. Drinking coffee and watching cat films.

Where did Boris end up and what does his host’s life look like?
My name is Lize and I create + draw things. Sometimes I shoot a movie and sometimes a draw a penis or a cat. Furthermore I like to spend my time with my laptop called Frits Frederik which I was able to get by making a lot of drawings. If you don’t understand what I’m talking about, have a look at helplizeaaneenlaptop.tumblr.com. Last but not least I am my own boss and sleep everyday as long as I want, although that doesn’t sound that exciting.

Where did Boris end up and what does his/her life look like?
Boris ended up with me through"Omar Kbiri":http://www.lomography.nl/magazine/news/2012/03/16/boris-de-doorgeeflomo-logeerde-bij-omar-kbiri. But Omar was way to much of a douche to give me a mission! It’s not typical for Omar to not give someone a mission, it’s always hysterical when we go out together. Like that time we got arrested in the middle of the night because we where drawing penises on traffic stops. Or the time we went to a karaoke bar and he asked me to marry him. Everyone started to congratulate us, it was hilarious.

Did you know Lomography or is this all new to you?
I only knew the weak iPhone rip offs to be honest. And don’t shoot me, but I still don’t really know what Lomography is all about, sorry!

How did you like having Boris around?
It was great fun! Though he can be a bit of a know it all. He’s a bit shy at times too. But, we did have some laughing fits together, that’s the most important thing about a guy you know, humor.

How did Boris become part of your life in the past two weeks?
Strangely I felt like I was living together with someone for two whole weeks. In the mornings we drank Soy Latte Macchiato’s and we sat in the windowsill staring at the canals. We also sang some really terribad hits from the ’90’s together, we drew some boobies with feather boas and walked through the Vondelpark. He was with me 24/7 and I’m slightly worried he’ll leave a gaping hole now that he’s gone.

What subject was your favorite to photograph?
Definitely the last picture! Though I fear it might not have come out right… It’s the one in which I slay that dragon with just a little bag of instant coffee. Actually, I lied there… It’s a double exposure in which I wanted to say bye. Oh and I loved taking a picture of that horrible set of slippers. Without spending any money they do feel a little bit like ‘mine’ now. If you want to spend money on them, the store is near the Hoofddorpplein in Amsterdam. Another thing I like is that I put Boris and Boris on a picture, with Boris (let’s hope this opens up that fourth dimension shall we?).

What did the people you encountered say about Boris?
Admittedly I was very possessive of Boris. It happens when I like someone. He just is a really special guy (and that Russian accent does wonders in the bedroom). You could say that everyone wanted a piece of Boris.

Would you like to experiment some more with Boris or other Lomography cameras?
Definitely! I would love to make a series of double exposures in which I would photograph drawings and then the second layer would be where they are sitting, standing or playing Rumble.

Where would you like to take Boris?
New York! Cause that would mean I would be there with him. We could go out all day and drink ridiculously unpronounceable caffeinated drinks! Oh and to abuse Starbucks wifi.

What mission are you giving Boris’ next caretaker?
Take a picture of a middle aged Chinese woman with a hat on!

Now I notice I rambled about coffee an awful lot… Sorry about that, didn’t mean to offend anyone.
