We love discovering musicians who love film photography so these shots of American singer Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince--better known as The Kills--are superb finds! See the band rocking Sprocket Rocket, Contax, and Leica cameras here!
The Kills’ 2012 tour stopped at Kansas, USA where photographer Mark Squires met up with them. He later shared a photodiary of his trip which includes a shot of Hince posing with his Leica M7 plus a Sprocket Rocket on the table as Mosshart goes through the diner menu.
The twosome were also seen with a Contax camera in 2011, as photographed by Ed Miles, and we just had to share these adorable vintage photobooth pictures of them! The Kills are obviously for keeping the future of analogue alive. Keep an eye out for celebrity sightings with analogue cameras, submit your story, and win Piggy Points! ;-)
Visit The Kills for more info.
The Sprocket Rocket is the first wide-angle camera dedicated entirely to sprockets. And with dual winding knobs for easy multiple exposures, there is no limit to your analogue creativity with this panoramic wonder. See the Sprocket Rocket in our Shop!
