Monochrome Madness with adi_totp

4

Sometimes when I want to keep things slow in life, I like to express it with black and white photos. I just buy several rolls of black and white films and start shooting calmly. But, do you believe me when I shoot calmly? Don't believe me please, I still the same adi_totp and here I will talk about my version of Monochrome Madness. Are you in?

I know there’s some trend going on about street photography and black & white film, it’s a perfect combination I must say. Me? I’ve been doing this “We’re Gonna Hit The Streets” Project for about a year and now I have 11 albums of it. Quiet mad? Not really but check this gallery below and see what is “We’re Gonna Hit The Streets” Project is all about.

With monochrome, I could document these expression of the streets in Bandung. After all, every corner of your city is full of expression. The streets, the walls, the people. All you have to do is just shoot, really. It’s fair to say that because the images speak for itself. That’s the power of Monochrome Madness using Horizon Perfekt.

Sometimes I just want to waste a roll film and just shoot freely anything that is in front of me. This is madness; a month ago I was shooting with La Sardina. The lens of La Sardina is quiet something and it’s great when you shoot it with Black & White film.

That, my friends, is how you use the power of a sardine can.

On documenting everyday life, last month was a dull month for me and I remember using my Lomo LC-A+ with flash, just clicking away. All those dull moments need flash to get that classic black and white photo, be sure to set the ISO to 400 so it won’t overexpose your shots. Now, before you try it at home, see my gallery below. Dull moments with flash, I think the flash sort of cheered up those moments. Nevertheless here are some shots.

Now, let’s see some dull shots without flash. This is really getting fun!

With the Lomo LC-A+, you’ll get nice monochrome images. Express yourself and express your madness with Black & White photos. Document that everyday scene of your life. We don’t know the value of our moment until they become a memory. Lomo on!

Falling In Love With The LC-A 120

There are quite a few perks that come with working for a film photography company, and the best perk of all is testing out the latest cameras. I can remember buying my LC-A back in 2009 and being really inspired to shoot film again. When the LC-A 120 came along, I couldn't wait to try it out around London. Join me as I test out this super medium format beauty.

12 Months, 12 Projects: March Of Caffenol

My list of resolutions for 2015 consists of 12 projects, one for every month. March was for caffenol. You have probably heard of the amazing fact that you can develop black and white photos with coffee, sodium, and vitamin C. I had tried this before but with less than stellar results. Somehow, there's always something going wrong. Time to devote a few rolls to caffenol to finally get the hang of it.
