Lomo LC-A Race Locations Primer: An Update

8

LC-A Race Participants: More good news (hint: Piggies) for you when submitting your race Locations - if you'd complete your metadata and narratives!

Cheers to our participants of the LOMO LC-A Race!

The race Locations are coming in, and we’ve received quite a hand! So here are some further clarifications:

Tag Your Locations Correctly!
For your entries to be eligible for the stage grand 100 Piggy Prize, you should tag your submissions correctly. You could submit as many Locations (within the same stage time period you’re participating on) as long as you put the Lomo LC-A Race tag as well as one of our corresponding tags per Location:

  • Urban adventures – a place of interest in a city (market, mall, stadium)
  • Jewels of the city – a famous place in the city (church, museum, square, etc)
  • Night & Music Delirium – some place to go out (party, concert hall, any site for pleasure)

Piggies and Publishing Delays
There will be possible delays in publishing some of the posts. Given this, we will be awarding your Piggy Points beforehand once we deem that your location submissions are approved. Please check your LomoHomes frequently for notifications on which of your Locations got through, or Locations which have problems or missing requirements.

Pre-approved Locations from Stage 1 will be sent submission confirmations via their own LomoHomes within the week of Monday, August 3 2009

For guidelines on our Location submission, please check out our section Piggy Points and Other Prizes: Updated 2009 Guide and FAQ – stating that you need at least 5 photos, a full paragraph descripting your Location and a short summary with your submission.

i thought that was only for the stage mission

Hmm, might be. It didn't differentiate between the locations and mission. Seemed like a week after for both. We need an official LSI verdict.

so even if we already submitted one location for each of the three themes (urban adventures, etc) - we shall still keep tagging them with e.g. "jewels of the city" no matter if it's one or twelve or thirty???!!!???
