It’s March, it’s all in green, and a celebration! The first-ever Guinness St. Patrick’s celebration at the east coast of West Malaysia, which was held at O’s Corner Café in Kuantan.
Before this, the building has already been abandoned. A man came and started to build his restaurant. He renovated the building with a vintage design. The place is well decorated with wooden tables and chairs, a stage, vintage painting, a great garden design, and also a vintage car! The café is now located at the riverside. O’s Corner Café is a very nice bistro and restaurant and it serves both Western and Asian cuisines.
The café held the first-ever Guinness St. Patrick’s celebration at the east coast of West Malaysia on the 3rd of March 2012. I was there to have dinner with my friends. I never expected that an event would be held there. Expect the unexpected; I just enjoyed every moment of the event.
I got myself a big hat by just answering a very simple question. My friends got the big hilarious spectacles. I just love the costume that I got. A small parade was ongoing, clowns and entertainers were there to make fun with us. I got the chance to spin the plate, but I never got any success. It looks easy, but actually it’s not. People around were having fun, all of them were dancing, playing games, and enjoying their meals and drinks.
This was my first experience of a St. Patrick’s celebration. I will join this event again next year. Take a break, just relax.

It was my first return visit in about 20 years. I took the chance and packed as many cameras as possible into my luggage. In part two of my journey log, I'm going to show you the pictures I took with my Lomography cameras.

Manchester based band Oasis rose to fame in late 1994 with their debut album "Definitely Maybe" which went straight to number one in the UK charts. They went on to have eight UK number one singles, eight number one albums and whole host of awards, dramas, fights, fall outs and new members in between. Chasing The Sun: Oasis 1993 - 1997 was the first Oasis exhibition of rare and iconic photographs, artifacts and memorabilia from the early years of the band. Some of these photos were take by Tom Sheehan who had his own exhibition at our Lomography Store East.
Exactly seven years ago, I bought this camera from Indonesia's local Lomography community. I remember having some savings in my bank account and just spending it all on this camera. At that time, I browsed the microsite for the Lomography Fisheye No.2 and immediately fell in love with it! Coincidentally, my friend who introduced me to Lomography just bought this same camera for his birthday. My life has changed ever since I had the Fisheye, my first lomographic camera.
