Sentosa is the fun island resort of Singapore, and it is turning 40 this year! As part of its anniversary celebration, Sentosa Ballonanza will be held this month. Read on to find out more about this event.
As the name implies, Sentosa Ballonanza is a balloon festival held during the weekends of May from 11am to 7pm. The main location is the plaza in front of the Merlion where one can see various balloon centric displays. There are also colorful balloon sculptures scattered around the island, so look for them!
There is hot air balloon basket in front of the Merlion, whereby one can pose for a group photo. There are also various balloon sculpture displays dotted around the location. If you want to have more fun, you can approach the Balloon Sculptures Store whereby you can rent a wearable balloon sculpture and take a photo with it.
At designated times throughout the day, there is a ballon magic show to tickle your funny bone! It is indeed a fun and relaxing way to spend your weekends. If your schedule permits, do head down to Sentosa for the Balloonanza before the end of May!
