Dream-like and as if you are in a happy trance -- these are just two of the many descriptions we can tag when it comes to the ever wonderful art of Pinhole photography.
But what is Pinhole exactly? It can be easily defined as lens less photography with a single small aperture. Might sound complicated but it is not. Yes, it is challenging but all the effort is worth the analogue fun!
And we at the Community just love the effect Pinhole photography brings. It may differ in a lot of ways and it could also be tough to identify but it sure is stunning!
So here we are, giving you 50 lovely Lomographs tagged with ‘pinhole’. Come on and dream in Lomography!
My two passions are art and photography. For my first article about art on the Lomography magazine, I decided to visit "The Light Show" exhibition at the Hayward Gallery. I aimed to take as many creative photos of light installations as I can with my Lomo LC-A+ and Fisheye No. 2.

As Steve Jobs puts it, "creativity is just connecting things." It's all about tracing one's experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's already known to establish new things. The Lomography community is no stranger to these instances. In fact, the community is filled with brilliant minds who are always ready to refine existing techniques and look for innovative ways to express their visions and ideas. Here are just a few of the creative lomographers we've come to love over the years.
Stenoflex lets you reproduce the single steps of black and white photography, from taking photos to printing. It is a simple box pierced with a tiny pinhole to allow light to enter. Put a sheet of photosensitive paper (included) inside the darkroom and expose it to your subject.
We'd like to thank everyone for continuously capturing precious moments on photographs and sharing them with all of us. Each of your photographs and albums brought happiness and inspiration to everyone in the community. These lomographers take the spotlight for their ceaseless passion for photography and for their generosity in sharing every step of their analogue adventure. Meet our top photo uploaders of 2014.
