The Lomography Gallery Store NYC Gramercy was very proud to present the opening of the Pablove Shutterbugs Exhibition on Thursday April 26th. Let's check out some of the highlights.
Pablove Shutterbugs seeks to teach children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. Lomography partnered with Pablove Shutterbugs, and two of our dedicated staff members here at NYC Gramercy, Jess and Nikki, designed and lead two 2-part workshops that taught these wonderful children how to use the Diana F+ and the Colorsplash. We were really excited to share our passion and love of photography with our students! They played with light painting and long exposures, as well as explored both indoor and outdoor shooting, and the results are spectacular! Come by the shop to see the fantastic work these children have created, the show will be up until the end of May 2012.
The prints are also for sale, the proceeds of which benefit the Pablove Shutterbugs Foundation. We all had a wonderful time celebrating the work done by such creative and resilient individuals!
