On the night of May 3rd, Lomography Gallery Store Singapore (LGS) was transformed into a beach resort complete with beach umbrellas, beach balls, and of course beach hunks and babes that give Baywatch a run for their money. Read on to find out about all the happenings on that night!
You would have been forgiven if you thought that you had somehow been teleported to famous summer reorts of Capri or Saint-Tropez if you had stepped into LGS Singapore on the night of 3rd May. Yes, for one night only, the Gallery Store was transformed into a beach resort for a special product launch.
Most guests arrived dressed to the beach party themes. They turned up in their summer’s best, and some even sportingly applied sunblock on their face.
The best dressed beach hunks and beach babes were roped in to be catwalk models for the night, helping to unveil the mysterious product. Trust me, Kenneth the fashionista had a hard time choosing his LGS Next Top Models as everyone (except me) looked absolutely glamorous and gorgeous!
Nonetheless, a man gotta do what’s a man gotta do. The few lucky ones were chosen and the rest can mingle around with fellow Lomographers and sip on the specially prepared Sangria and Fruit Yogurt.
Finally, the time has come for the highlight of the night: the fabulous catwalk models unveiling the mysterious product!
Yes, the new product is none other than the La Sardina Beach Editions. Surprise surprise! Lomography did not launch 1 or 2 La Sardina variants but a whopping 10 different variants! After a brief introduction by Meerly, the guests are invited to have a first hand look at the 10 unique cameras.
Almost immediately, you can hear many guests discussing amongst themselves which one looks better or whether they should just buy them all!
Another successful and fun filled event by the LGS Singapore team! Kudos to them!
