When Easter comes, we usually have a bunch of people on each coast from our country. A Diana Mini was lent to me for three weeks and I was very lucky to have an un-crowded beach to bask on!
It was Easter and two friends + my dad + me wanted to go to the beach, though we know it usually gets too many people in those days. We gave it a go and went driving to Bahía de Cata.
We got there and, surprise! the bay was amazingly alone, with just a few people from the town but not too many. Of course, as the hours flew by, more people arrived at Cata Bay.
I enjoyed a lot playing around with the Diana Mini. Making some double exposures, I wanted to know how the photos would come out when double exposed in a very sunny condition (I wish Lomography came out with some CN ASA 50, because even with ASA 100, most of them get very overexposed!).
As the coast is very long, to keep on basking the beach, we went for a walk to the river near the beach. We saw some camping tents, a very clean river, and some coconut-oil sellers. Oh, and I took a photograph of my dad and I!
Here are some other doubles after sunbathing a lot:
And here’s a little fellow I found at the shore:
The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+. This camera takes soft-focused, lo-fi images in 35mm and allows you to change between half-format and square shots with a flick of a switch. Get your own Diana Mini now!
