Lomography.sk puts its flag into another city in Slovakia. Prešov, a city in east of Slovakia was conquered a couple weeks ago. A Workshop followed by a lomography exhibition which moved the still summer waters. Due to local activity of Presov´s young sport and art community, especiallly David Suchár & Co., Lomography.sk was motivated to support the event. What has started as an event to support the local skateboarding community, became a nice workshop and lomography exhibition. Lomography supplied cameras and films for lomography first timers and et vóila a workshop and an exhibition could take place. The best picture, taken by Pavel Višnovský, was rewarded with a Fisheye Camera Nr. 2 and respect from people who joined the happening.

This workshop might be one of the first from a series of workshops in whole Slovakia, mapping the territory of Slovakia with the help of lomography cameras held in hands of locals. Check out the vibrating atmosphere pulsating on the pictures from the opening of the exhibition which took place on 8.7.2009 in Wave club in Prešov.

    A Color Remix

It's human nature to be restless and imaginative. The real may be interpreted as what one sees or how one sees something. For the daydreamer, a scene from nature transforms into a canvas. Suddenly a field makes room for chemical coloring, all those anachronistic streaks that somehow look right. Or else, those beautiful colors amplified or subdued to their most pictorial shades. All in the world of trial-and-process film photography.
