Say a little prayer at Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, the largest Buddhist temple in Singapore. Founded in 1920, the building of Phor Kark See Monastery started as the first traditional Chinese forest monastery in Singapore.
There are twelve major “landmarks” within the temple. The temple houses Buddha and Bodhisattva images from the various traditions, expressing the Mahayana spirit of encompassing one and all. Take a virtual tour here: http://www.kmspks.org/kmspks/templetour/index.htm
Check out their website for activities such as public talks, classes and retreats, with the aim of bringing the Dharma to both Buddhists and non-Buddhists. You can also learn more about spiritual living, the Dharma teachings and other Buddhist practices by picking up free copies of such publications.
To experience the temple at its most magnificent, visit Kong Meng San on Vesak Day when Buddhists all over Singapore commemorate and celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Check the lunar calendar!

At first solo artists, St. Denis and Shawn began collaborating a year prior on dances often described as exotic and sensual, at times even erotic.

And for lomographers, nothing beats the feeling of having that story unfold in your hand, in the form of a print.
