Going Exploring at Bangkok!

2

It was my first trip to this city on April. I should say it is a really new culture for me. This city I am talking about now is Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok is the capital city and the largest urban area in Thailand. It is known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon meaning "city of angels". Bangkok is the political, social, and economic center of Thailand, and one of the leading cities in Southeast Asia.

Cheap and delicious food, cheap and good quality clothes, friendly people? I have to say Bangkok is the best place for all three. Everywhere you go, you will get to pass by street food stalls by the side; and believe it or not, the most delicious food you can find in Bangkok are from the street stalls! Now I am starting to remember the food we had such as tom yum, green curry, basil meat, mango sticky rice, and many more! For clothes, you just have to step into a shopping mall, I am very sure you won’t come out empty handed hahaha! Tops, jeans, pants, shorts, even shoes – you can get almost anything from there!

It is a good place to get to experience a new culture if you are living in the city like myself. You will see that everyone in Bangkok is really working very hard to earn a living, even kids work to earn money. So the trip taught me quite a number of things even though it is just a four-day, three-night trip.

So you guys can consider visiting Bangkok for a vacation and don’t forget to visit the Lomography shop there!

And that is why I sought out the people who make Denver that much more interesting after the initial period of settling down. My search lead to a few establishments that have contributed to making Denver what it is today. In the second story on Transient Living, I present to you two of such establishments: The Craftsman & Apprentice, and A Small Print Shop.
