In old Malay, “kawi” denotes reddish brown, hence, Langkawi means reddish brown eagle.Dataran Lang is beautifully landscaped and features scenic ponds, bridges, covered terraces, restaurants and barrel vaults made of bricks.During the day, the eagle square is magnificently beautiful. You also need to see the eagle square at night – it’s radiantly illuminated at night.
