Chaplin’s iconic bamboo walking cane sold for $42,000 (far exceeding its $20-30,000 reserve price) at the Hollywood Legends sale at Julien’s Auctions. With that hefty price tag, you’d think they would throw in the matching bowler hat for free, but it sold separately for a whopping $58,000, bringing the total to $100,000 for the actor’s artifacts.
