Island in the Sun: Fun at Waterbom Bali

Waterbom Bali opened in December 1993. It is located at the heart of Kuta, Bali with a total land area of around 3.8 hectares. It is suitable for people of all ages who wish to have fun on an island under the sun!

Waterbom Bali is described as an oasis that is surrounded by tropical Balinese gardens in the middle of the famous Kuta stretch. It is a great place for entertainment and relaxation.

There are many world-class water slides and rides in Waterbom Bali that provide hours of fun for everyone. The slides and rides such as Climax, Smashdown, and Race Track are thrilling and suitable for those who love high speed. For those who prefer lower speeds, they can go for Jungle Ride and Superbowl. Lazy River is a great choice for relaxing or catching a breath after a few rounds of adventurous rides.

Besides slides and rides, other leisure facilities that can be found in Waterbom Bali are a pleasure pool for people to chill out, some people enjoy a game of water volleyball while others just soak themselves in the pool water; and sun loungers for people who want to sunbathe, do some reading or just relax.

Don’t worry about getting hungry. A variety of food is served at the food trail in Waterbom Bali – from Indonesian delights, Balinese favorites, Italian staples to gourmet hotdogs and burgers. There are also kiosks that sell ice cream, snacks, and soft drinks all around the park.

There are plenty of cozy gazebos for rent on a daily basis in Waterbom Bali. These are perfect for people who wish to relax and unwind with more privacy. Another advantage of renting a gazebo is meals can be delivered straight to the gazebo. Do remember, the renting of a gazebo is on a first-come-first-serve basis though.

I enjoyed myself a lot in Waterbom Bali. I was glad that I had a chance to be – and feel like a kid again! It was definitely a great day for island fun under the sun!

We stopped everything we were doing to join the sky watchers crew and share in this astonishing moment. Check out these brilliant solar-inspired shots to celebrate the occasion!

After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!
