Argentinian photographer Irina Werning is known for her “Back to the Future” series, featuring images of recreated moments based on and juxtaposed with old childhood photos.

“Bittersweet Melodies,” a track from Feist’s 2011 album, Metals, uses Werning’s shots in the simplistic and nostalgic music video.

“I love old photos, but I love even more to recreate them,” says Werning. “When I fall in love with a picture I don’t stop until I have them in front of me dressed like this doing that thing they were doing. I’m always amazed that they do it.”
