These Lomographers most probably have taken the advice of 80's band Tears for Fears when they said "Shout, shout, let it all out."
Alright, that may not be very appropriate but I guess you know what I’m talking about! For it’s time for our monthly recap of the Community’s Top Shoutbox Users. Here they are, the top from March 2012! Congratulations, all!
The shoutbox is always open for the community's honest opinions, surprising suggestions, and sweetest greetings. It is also an avenue for members from across different countries to dicuss and interact with one another. We'd like to commend these lomographers for keeping this humble space booming with entertaining conversations all year long. Congratulations to our top shoutbox users of 2014.
I don't know many bands from Russia but one that I've been admiring for years is Motorama from Rostov-on-Don. With catchy tunes and adorable videos, they took my heart by storm and that of fans from all over the world. Because of their Russian origin, Motorama is of course familiar with Lomo products. Reason enough to let them become our latest LomoAmigos! Enjoy the interview with singer Vlad and check out their B&W photos, taken with a La Sardina Splendour.
Have you ever tried going lens-less when taking a photo? Try shooting with ONDU Pinhole Cameras and see what it's like to take photos through a tiny pinhole. Check out these lovely shots taken by Lomographers; if you do have some ONDU pinhole photos of your own, upload and tag them accordingly so that we can see them!
Like a cluster of cherry blossoms, the temples in Kyoto can stop visitors in their tracks. These people assume the pose of a statue, a camera dangling from their neck and hands. On a first visit especially, the impulse to photograph every angle is constant. The Kinkaku-ji Temple and the torii-lined Fushimi Inari-Taisha are always packed; one would think the tourists would hurry along. But really, many are busy taking snatches of Kyoto with them.
Inspired by summertime in bloom, the new Lomo’Instant Kyoto Edition is the latest addition to our creative instant photography line-up! With its intricate floral and peach design, this special edition camera is reminiscent of beautiful summer sunsets in Kyoto, a city adored for its picturesque shrines, temples and nature scenery.
