So what did I do after roughly five-and-a-half years of studying, examinations, and sleepless nights? I went on a family vacation to the city of Puerto Princesa.
I love to travel to and explore new places every chance I get. That’s why shortly after I graduated and passed my board examinations, I didn’t pass up on the opportunity to have an adventure in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
A city situated more than 500 kilometers away from Manila, Puerto Princesa will have you in awe of the beauty that nature has to offer. Given its geographical location, beach-goers will definitely enjoy the white sand beaches and nature trips available.
Luckily, we had a family friend who was a local in the area and he agreed to take us on a tour. Well, what can you see in Puerto Princesa? A whole lot of nature, of course!
Here are some of the photos:
Crocodile Park & Conservation Center
Besides an informative lesson about crocodile basics, the Conservation Center also houses other animals that can be found in the island.
This is one of the city’s most popular destinations. It has recently won an award for being one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. A lot of stalactites, stalagmites, and bats (yikes!) are here.
What better way to explore the different beaches near Puerto Princesa by island hopping? The islands are aptly named too, for the flora and fauna that can be seen such as Bat Island, Pandan Island, etc. You can also go snorkeling in some of the islands and I have to say, the corals there are one of the most remarkable ones I’ve seen!
Actually there are still a lot of things and places to discover in the island of Palawan, I certainly hope to go there again and document my adventures with my cameras!
