Have you tried to take night photo or indoor photo with your spinner and it was too dark? Did you try to use manual speed and got results that looked like a lot of stripes in different exposures? I have a tipster for you!
I bought my Spinner 360 and I thing it’s an amazing invention. You can get really differetent and interesting perspective of the world from this camera.
Shooting in daylight is really simple and easy to do, as you only have to choose between sunny day and cloudy apertures, then pull the cord. Tadah! It’s like magic. It’s amazing—straight lines become curves, a circle looks in flat perspective. It’s without a doubt a UNIQUE result.
But what happens if I want to take a night or indoor photo? The lights are not enough for just pulling the cord; you have to do it in MANUAL.
How? You take the handle with one hand and spin the camera slowly with your other hand. This allows your camera to receive enough light for your picture. But wait! This is not really easy, because your hand can’t spin 360 degrees and there is less control of other objects in constant and perfect speed.
I tried it many times and the results were not really bad when I had a lot of indoor lights. But, I always had something like stripes. They look like stripes of different exposures. This is because your hand can’t do it perfectly.
That’s why I needed an easy way to take a picture with less lights, and I finally, I found it! I think it’s really useful:
1. Put your camera in a tripod
2. Hold the camera with your right hand (the upper part, not the handle)
3. Walk around the tripod, holding the camera in constant speed.
It’s really simple; this allows you to take spins that you want. It depends on you and you don’t need to appear in your photo because you are always behind the camera.
The most important thing is that the result doesn’t have weird stripes because it’s really easy. I hope you find this tip useful!
