Community LomoAmigo Mattiapiazzano and His LomoKino Experience

2

Hailing from Italy, this week's featured LomoAmigo tells us his experiences with the LomoKino and his dream person to shoot with it!

Meet Mattia, or more known as mattiapiazzano from our Community as he tells us his LomoKino story and at the same time, share some tips for us analogue lovers!

Full Name: Mattia Piazzano
Lomography Username: mattiapiazzano
Location: Milan, Italy

How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?

Well, I’ve been a Lomographer since four years ago or even more — then for two years I worked at Lomography until the end of 2011.

Describe the LomoKino.

Easy, creative, and smart.

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

From the hip, of course!

Trip to Beirut

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

As part of the Lomography team, I had the chance to test products before their launch. As soon as I’ve seen the camera I asked for a test one.

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

I was shooting on a rally and a guy asked me how old was the camera. I replied… “It’s not yet released!” Haha.

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

Benny Hill!

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

Because that’s the true spirit!

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

Scan and edit what I’ve scored in the past months. Then, I don’t really know…

Your advice to future LomoKino users.

Don’t be afraid to advance the crank. If it’s too much, you just cut it, but it’s way better to have some more frames in archive.
