Don’t you just love stumbling upon a stash of expired film? Sometimes, you remain full of doubt. Has this been stored properly? Will I get usable images out of these? Don’t expired things curdle and grow mold? But at the end of the day, we buy the rolls anyway and continually get blown away by the results. From films that expired yesterday to those dating back more than ten years ago, expired film will always have a place in the heart of every Lomographer. Don’t you agree?

It is an annual event that is highly anticipated by fans and connoisseurs of both mainstream and independent cinema. This year's festival has officially opened and film buffs everywhere are excited, at the same time curious, about which film will win the Palme d'Or. Adi, Ekeu, and I did a lomowalk around downtown Bandung last Saturday, the beginning of November. We planned to use our Lubitel cameras with only one roll of film each. We were inspired by the One Roll of Film Project by four Tokyo-based photographers with their Hasselblad cameras. This is about the one roll of film I shot with the Lubitel 166U, which made me love shooting in medium format even more.
A couple of years ago marcus_loves_film had the opportunity to spend time at a lodge more than half a century old in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Through these photographs, he had documented one night of his stay.
