Is it FINALLY the light to put on that metal thing on top of the Spinner that is not for flash? Because I never believed it was there for nothing... something that allows us, Spinner lovers, to take pictures inside without the stripes... is it?! Can I be a beta tester? :D

  18. saidseni

...ok, just heard the song, no matter what it is, it spins! I really hope it is NOT a new edition of the Spinner with some different pattern... those shouldn't be considered new products, I get all excited and, bah!, a new Sardina edition... :P Keep up the good work, lomo-team! ;)

360º degree Horizon Camera? Ok, I tihnk it probably is really a spinning tripod and not a new Camera? Please release more completely new and different cameras! I second saidseni when she says she gets all excited with new product announcments and then she is a bit let down when they are revealed to be existing cameras with new patterns!

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 2

I’d only heard rumors of the Magic Tree. I had no idea if they were true and, honestly, I’m still half disbelieving of it despite the story I’m about to tell you. If you have faith in what I say, I’m grateful. If you don’t, I bear no ill will towards you. Transient Living: Armitage & McMillan in Denver, Colorado

If you want to know the heart of a person, peek inside his/her wardrobe! And no, nobody famous said that; I only just made it up. But really, don't you think it's true? After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!

So here’s what we’ve been working on: an all new lomography.com

For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.

Abstract Visions and Phantasmic Monochromes by Ian Llewelyn

As a wildlife cameraman and photographer, Ian Llewelyn has worked on a number of television projects. The UK-based lensman breaks free from the strict confines of his profession by engaging in monochrome photography. His personal work is a plethora of abstract and experimental imagery, created in a style distinctly his own. Llewelyn is an ardent user of a Leica Monochrom camera, on which he mounted the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Lens, producing the most imaginative, phantasmic results.

    Giles Clement: The Wayfaring Tintyper

Reminiscent of traveling photographers of the 19th century, Giles Clement tours through the country with his assistant, Zeiss (an Irish Terrier), offering everything from portrait sessions to wildly creative photographic projects for magazines and companies. And although his mode of transportation may have evolved with the times, his photographic method and gear have changed very little compared to the photographers of days past. Now, with over 3 years of tintyping experience under his belt and an impressive list of clients, he's carved a name out for himself as an accomplished tintyper and continues to spread his passion for this ages-old technique everywhere he goes.
