If you are in the Philippines, February is probably the best month to schedule your wedding. Two months before the hot and humid summer and half a year away from the typhoon season, it has the right weather to get hitched, walk down the aisle and exchange vows with your loved one. But for an all-season wedding and reception venue there is always Fernwood Gardens.
Located inside Sanville Subdivision in Quezon City, Fernwood Gardens is a compound with a chapel, four reception areas or “gardens” suitable for weddings, birthdays, and debuts with nature and rainforest ambiance.
With translucent sky domes that reach up to sixty feet, it is a good all-season place to hold special events.
Upon entry, you can easily notice vintage cars parked facing the chapel.
St. Francis Chapel’s exterior.
Inside the Chapel is a garden-like interior with trees and plants near the altar.
The four gardens (Fernwood 1, Cycad, Courtyard and Coral Tree) have different floor areas. Couples can select the right garden depending on their needs and the number of people attending their wedding. They have ponds with live swans and waterfalls in some gardens.
You can also rent their horse and carriages for a more special arrival at the chapel as well as for pictorials.
Gazebos are nice for some more pictorials after the wedding ceremony. The vintage-looking telephone booth is a favorite spot for photo shoots. And the wooden staircase can make for a great grand entrance.
There are other amenities and spots to explore inside the Fernwood Gardens compound, which are perfect for other family and company gatherings, but for soon-to-be married couples, this place is a complete venue for their special day.
