Abra De Ilog is a 4th class municipality in the province of Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. Its name was from folk history meaning “embrace of the river”. It is located in the West side of Mindoro Island in the Southern Tagalog Region.
I personally rode one of the several RORO trips from Batangas International Port to Matabang Port which take approximately 2 ½ hours. From Matabang Port, one can hire a tricycle for only Php 20.00 to get to Poblacion, which is the center of all hubs & activities of the town. Anyone can explore the nine (9) friendly Barangays of the town via tricycle or by taking a walk while enjoying the peaceful scenery.
I really love the fine coast because of its solitude, quietude & serenity. I tried Spelunking and white water rafting which were the extreme challenge of nature that were offered. Nobody can match the warmth, the solidarity, the industry and uniqueness of the people in this area. It is a place I would always want to visit again & spend some time with. Thanks to our good friend, Teta Eugenio, for letting us stay in their beach front rest house! Love it!
Colombia is one of the most vibrant countries in Latin America. In the last years the country went from being one of the most dangerous in the region to one of the most interesting places to visit. One of the jewels of Colombia is a hotels in its capital, the Hotel de la Opera.
Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.
Last year I took part in Photographia, a project that encouraged the use of cameras from the volt of Museu da Imagem em Movimento (M|i|mo). The gear collection used to belong to a well-known Portuguese TV channel (RTP) and some professional photographers. The cameras hadn’t been used since they were donated to the museum—until the launch of Photographia.

Estilhaços is an annual short film festival in Leiria, Portugal. I was challenged to create six analog videos to be projected during a live music showcase. I decided to use LomoKino for the first time.
