The Diana F+ Mr Pink Says Hello in British Vogue's February Edition.
Whilst browsing this months British Vogue, my girlfriend stumbled across a Diana F+ Mr. Pink in this month’s summer collection article. In the article “Little Miss Sunshine” (page 118), the model featured is American fashion model Arizona Muse and it shows how the vibrant pink contrasts with this season’s bright summer outifts and trends. It also shows how Lomography is gaining exposure (pardon the pun!) in today’s media and how Lomography’s fun and vintage design is a must-have for the season. Is this not just an excuse to buy every colour to match every outfit?!
Say hello to Duffman, a 20-year-old photographer based in Frankfurt, Germany. He started taking film photos when he received a Diana F+ camera for his 16th birthday. Now he uses the Petzval Lens for capturing really impressive portraits. Get to know more about him after the jump!
This month our workshops are covering the classics! Back by popular demand is the Diana F+ Back to Basics workshop, an East London Street Art walk with the LC-A+ and a Diana Pinhole workshop. Book yourself a spot today!
The landscape of retail now includes the Internet. Back then stores had a more prominent role in promoting products. Window displays needed a strong punch line, say, a Vogue endorsement. Or in some examples, a singular product—a camera or a shoe—was all it took to lure in a passerby.
Lomography is proud to announce that we are teaming up with acclaimed rock band R.E.M. to host an exclusive one-of-a-kind photo competition! The prizes include a Lomography Diana F+ Special Edition Camera, the acclaimed new ‘R.E.M. By MTV’ DVD, R.E.M. vinyl and more! Read on to see how you can participate in this rumble.
In this series we meet all the staff that make up Lomography UK. That's everyone from the Soho shop staff to the guys that hide away in the office! Today we talk to shop assistant Joanne Coates who has a penchant for the LC-A+ and loves running our workshops! Say hello to Jo!
Our latest LomoAmigos come from Odense and Copenhagen, Denmark. Say hello to Kissaway Trail, a three-piece band that impressed the world with large string arrangements, epic harmonies and beautiful melodies since releasing its self-titled debut album in 2007. Armed with a La Sardina camera, the trio went analog and recorded memories through intimate lomographs.
Say goodbye to October and hello to November. The weather is getting colder but we have a bunch of workshops that will keep you warm! We have a lot in store for us, from a walk in the park with the Petzval to creating light painting masterpieces.
