And now the end is here. And they stood tall, and did it their way. Here are the winners of last December's Frank Sinatra LomoKino Rumble. Read on...
A little over a month ago, we paid tribute to the crooner, the man, Mr. Frank Sinatra. And included in the series of posts we made was a LomoKino rumble where we asked you to create a simple music video of one of his most famous songs – My Way. A number of you guys got hyped in the beginning but unfortunately, there weren’t many people who participated. Awww…
However, I was surprised at the ones who did make it to the competition. We had fun watching what you came up with. And now, here are the winners:
Congratulations, guys! You each win 25 Piggies! Thank you for participating and I hope that next time more people would hop aboard the movie making mayhem. Until next time!
Lomography UK teamed up with Scottish Indie/Electronic band Looper and Mute Records to give lucky participants the chance to win a LomoKino and a Looper bundle which includes a 5-CD Box Set signed by the band, live cassette and badge. The band has picked the winners and put them all together in its latest music video for "I’m a Photograph!”
Aaaaaand we're back to regular programming! Apologies that it took us long to reveal December's winners, we had too much eggnog and partied way past our bedtime. So without further delay, here's The Best of the LomoKino - December.
We wanted to see outstanding and utterly exciting analog photos that capture the essence of music festivals, and you sent your very best. You all did such an amazing job. It's time to announce who the lucky winners are.
The Lomography x The Victoria and Albert Museum HORST Rumble was so successful with over 800 entries! As you can imagine it's been a tough challenge deciding on the winners but we've done it! Read on to find out who the winners are.

Mogwai are a Scottish post-rock band who formed way back in 1995. Last year they released "Rave Tapes," their eighth studio album, and have been touring intensively over the last 12 months. They took the LC-Wide to Japan and chatted with us about the world of Mogwai.

Homegrown band PROM and Austin-based band The Bright Light Social Hour made it to New York's CMJ Music Marathon, which took place late last October. They are Lomography's new LomoAmigos who have documented their experience at CMJ with the Pop 9 and the Colorsplash Cameras, respectively. Together with The Orchard, a music distribution firm, let's take a look at how things went at the music marathon!
The Ting Tings are a musical duo from Manchester who have more pop hits than you can shake a stick at. They are most famous for their 2008 hit "That's Not My Name" which got even the stiffest of people shaking in their seats. The Ting Tings are back with a brand new album called Super Critical. They are big film fanatics (check out their website for proof) so we gave them a Sprocket Rocket Camera and a bunch of film to document their life in sunny IBIZA.
We love our cameras. We especially love it when you love our cameras. And we get super pumped when you tell us about it. So when the LC-A 120 got a stunning review from the fellas at The Phoblographer, we were giddy with delight! Not only did they give it a killer, in-depth review, but they also bestowed it with a 5/5 rating and Editor's Choice award! Read on for a little taste of the review and then head to their site to read the whole thing!
I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum's Friday Late, an event that takes place every last Friday evening of the month. For March 2014, the London borough of Tottenham was invited to curate an evening of creativity. There were a number of events that went on ranging from music and art to fashion and film. Accompanied by my LC-A+ and Fisheye No. 2, here are my highlights of that evening in photographs.
Are you ready for an adrenaline rush? A little while ago, we teamed up with the snowboard and film-making collective Yougofirst and gave them a LomoKino and some film rolls to play with. After a season of crazy riding, jumps and tricks, they have finished their latest movie HETEROTOPIA which features footage shot with our 35mm movie-maker. We had the chance to catch up with Vid and Matic from the collective about the new movie and their experiences shooting analogue on the slopes. It's also our pleasure to showcase the movie here!
Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!
