The Red Rainbow Fish used to live in the Rainbow Sea... How the stories goes on and how the Lubitel comes into play will be revealed after the break.
The Red Rainbow Fish used to live in the Rainbow Sea. One day, he took the moray-taxi heading to the Berlin Aquarium, which can be found next to the Berlin Zoo. There, he now inhabits a cozy basin. Together with our Lubitel cameras, we will try to discover him. Whoever finds him can keep his photo!

Not knowing exactly how to do deal with its odd appearance, Nadica first regarded the Lubitel 166B as a complete monstrosity. She left it untouched on her shelf for months after receiving it as a gift. After using other Lomo cameras and getting familiar with the rules on exposure, she finally had the courage to test it. Find out what made stacy_mcpommes fall in love with the Lubitel 166B in this installment of Weapon of Choice!
How can so many good things be revealed in one interview? In this fifteen-minute video, Trent Parke gives his eloquent take on why film photography matters. His stories about drying films on clotheslines and "walking the streets everyday capturing light" also remind us that Film Photography Day is just eight days away!
Geoffrey Berliner is the Executive Director of the Penumbra Foundation and the Center for Alternative Photography in New York. As the head of an organization whose goals are 'to be a comprehensive resource for photographers at any level' and 'to continue to publicize the impact photography has had and continues to have on culture, history and the arts,' his exposure to photographic materials -from 19th century gems to modern equipment- is so extensive, one cannot even begin to fathom just how much knowledge and experience this man has acquired. His collection of over 2000 vintage Petzval lenses is unparalleled, and the object of envy of both traditional and contemporary photographers. Although such lenses are reputed to require a certain level of skill to be used, Berliner seems to manage them with so much ease, producing splendid results.
