As Lomography is traveling to uncharted (yet exciting) new territories, we bring to you our two LomoLocation junkies who get to be part of the Jury for a special project!
A new dawn has broken and we have successfully transitioned into the new Lomography.com – and we recently held the biggest Locations rumble the world of Lomography has ever encountered! Entries have been submitted and approved, depicting gorgeous landscapes and interesting people in their respective areas (as well as probably some undiscovered nook and crannies). The picks are not based on the number of locations entered, and we really liked everyone’s Location-posting efforts!
Our two lucky winners will be taking a virtual seat as part of the LomoJury for one of our upcoming secret projects and will be contacted shortly!
Together with the Volkshotel in Amsterdam, Lomography Netherlands organized a rumble in line with Volkshotel's 24hrs project. The jury has decided and we now have the list of winners who will get to enjoy their very own Volkhotel experience.
As festival season approaches, Lomography NYC is excited to team up with our friends at Electric Forest to bring you this one of a kind rumble. We want you to be a part of the Forest Family and accompany us through the magical journey that awaits.
Yes, you read that right: Lomography has once again come up with a cool new product! But as much as we want to spill the beans right this moment—where would be the fun in that, right?—we've decided to make things a little more exciting by conducting a couple of rounds of good ol' guessing game. Sounds good? Step right in and see if you can crack our clues!
In December last year James Wright, editor and creative director of So It Goes Magazine, went on a two-week trip to Sri Lanka, "a place so long on our bucket list, but up until then, as yet unvisited," he writes on the first of his three-part photo diary. Herein is the first of his series that chronicles his adventures, highlighted by a selection of breathtaking images of the Sri Lankan countryside and the locals, among many other images, captured with his trusty photographic companions: the Leica MP, Lomo LC-A+, and an assortment of films including the LomoChrome Purple.
It was the Amazon which I had longed for my whole life. And when it was finally a set deal that I will travel to Brazil with two of my best friends for the Copa do Mundo (World Cup), we really had to start our adventure in the Amazon. I had known about this magical place deep in the rainforest. There was a lodge run by local people of indigenous background, with wooden houses that float on the water and a limited number of visitors. It was eco-tourism as how it should be. To preserve and to celebrate one of the most impressive locations I have seen so far.
