Sarawak State Library

I love this library. Though it is far from the town, it is nice and beautiful. Not only is it a good place for studying, it is also a good place for relaxing.

Sarawak State Library – the place I spent most of my time with when I was in my form 5, preparing for my SPM.

When I was in my form 5, my friends and I always came here to do our revision. It was like almost everyday that we came here to study, especially during the last 3 months before the actual SPM exam. Sometimes we came after school hours, sometimes we sneak out of the school during break time, and we came almost every weekend. But after my SPM, I seldom come here anymore.

The library is surrounded by beautiful landscape. Coming here is just like coming to a park. It has a big lake, areas for public performances and art exhibitions, a playground, picnic areas, a scenic drive, pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes strewn with trees, shrubs and flower gardens. People can always come here to enjoy themselves.

After so many years, I went back to this place again about a month ago. It was still as beautiful as few years ago, or even better.

    Changing Seasons: Durham in Autumn

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.

The World According to Herr Willie: Olympiastadion Berlin

The 2015 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on June 6. It is a place full of history and is also the only football stadium with a blue track course. Some say it is the most beautiful stadium in the world, and I totally agree with them. But then agai,n I might be biased because it is the home court of my favorite team, Hertha BSC Berlin—my blue-white bloodline.

Here are a few tips from what I’ve discovered from playing with the camera so far (and a couple of tips I want to try out in future)!
