Carter Road with the Fisheye 2

2

Visiting one of Mumbai's many sea faces - Carter Road Promenade while taking the Fisheye 2 for a spin.

Carter Road is one of Mumbai’s many sea faces. It is not as classy as Marine Drive (also in Mumbai but sort of far away) but definitely much classier and cleaner than the nearby Bandstand.

It’s quite close to my college so I go there pretty often.

These are old photos from maybe, August 2011. I had just borrowed a friend’s Fisheye (I didn’t have my own at that time). This was my first roll with the camera. We were bored at college so one morning me and my friends bunked classes to take a walk down the promenade.

My friends on a mountain of gravel

Gravel and other constructions supplies are always around because local politicians are always carrying out beautification projects.

You will always find stray dogs…
and pedigree dogs being walked by owners and servants.
There was even a kitten on the rocks, its mother had stashed it there away from human interferences.
Local washer men use the rocks to dry clothes.
Fishing boats can be found here when not out at sea, fishing!
Public Service Announcement.
Modern Art

Overall, Carter Road is a fun place to be for all ages, at any time of the day!

Fisheye No. 2 has a 170-degree wide angle view and stunning barrel distortion. Now with a hotshoe and multiple and long exposure capabilities, the world’s greatest compact Fisheye camera is now more amazing than you ever thought possible! Available in different colours and special designs.
