Many of us are already familiar with some of the world's most iconic photographs. But, how do they look like when recreated using a different medium? Let's take a second look at these popular photographs interestingly rendered using LEGO pieces!

It’s obvious what happens when a photographer becomes fascinated at toys—he or she takes up toy photography. But, what if the toy photographer develops a fondness for something more challenging—let’s say, LEGO? The results are unexpectedly amazing, as evident in the works of UK-based photographer Mike Stimpson.

Stimpson’s fondness for LEGO led him to an awesome idea—to recreate some of the most iconic photographs in history, among them snapped by the world’s equally iconic photographers such as Alfred Eisenstaedt, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Robert Capa. Let’s take a look at some of them now, side by side with the original photographs:
