The Kennel Club opened an exhibit entitled “Photography Going to the Dogs” in July of this year, showcasing a selection of images man’s best friend taken from the 1850s to the 1950s. What can you expect? Aside from photos from Kennel Club Picture Library and other collections, there are also several interesting dog show photos, studio portraits, and candid snapshots from the collection of Libby Hall, who collected vintage dog photographs for over forty years.

Tom Skyrme is a musician from East London who has been shooting on film since he was a kid. His psych-pop band Swim Mountain will be playing live at the Lomography x Nixon Exhibition in Soho on July 24th. We caught up with Tom ahead of this gig to find out what makes him tick.
