Fisheye Rumble in the Pond Chapter 26: The Lomographers say: “Groove on Shankar! We just love the sun!”

Creative individuals talk about their love for Lomography and of course, the Fisheye!

Well, I live in Brussels, Belgium for the moment. I’m a graphic designer and web designer. I like to take pics of everything. My best kept secret is… I want to become the next guy on the moon (maybe on the dark side) but don’t tell that to anybody!!!

Favorite Fisheye motifs: Architecture for the perspective and people for the fun.
Expert technique: I like to shoot when the sun is bright (and it’s not so easy in Belgium).
Lomography? Experimentation, lo-tech and a lot of fun. A very nice result for very cheap.
Message: I studied photography when I was young (houuu I’m so old now) and I love the real fisheye-lens effect, but it costs more money than I have. Actually I have money but I prefer the Lomography Fisheye because I get such amazing colors with it.

“Rumble in the Pond” is a 368-page hardcover book bursting with 170-degree Fisheye madness. Inside your will find exclusive tips and tricks, Lomographer profiles & interviews, an informative history of Fisheye lenses and goldfish breeding, and several hundred eye-popping barrel-distorted fisheye images.
