We just can't get enough of great animation shorts. This is another new stop motion animation using simple shapes, nice music, and a lot of creativity. Let's check the video after the jump...

Stop motion is always impressive to me. Whichever medium you prefer, whether it’s digital or analogue, the process is almost painstakingly equal. I’ve seen several stop motion animations go through both processes. Like the Lomokino for example. You shoot analogue, process the film analogue, and then make the animation digitally using a computer. Some videos were done the other way around, either way, this process requires a lot of skill and patience so it’s always a treat to see really good ones.

During his two-month internship at Partizan, animator Steven Briand was able to create this simple, yet marvelous stop motion piece. It involves a man, sitting in front of a desk, and what appears to be pieces of paper made into different shapes and patterns. The music goes well too. Together, they collectively present a great audio-visual piece.
