A few photos from my trip up St. Mary's Tower, which, as it turns out, is right in the middle of Oxford.
The University Church of St. Mary is slap bang in the middle of Oxford and although I walk past it most days, I’ve never really stopped to look at it properly until we were showing a group of friends around the city. When they looked at it and asked if you could go up the tower, we had no idea if you could or not so further investigation was needed.
Turns out it’s about £2 or £3 to go up but when you get to the top, the views are fab. My favourite side looks over the Radcliffe Camera, but you could get equally good photos from any. No doubt I’ll go back again with as many cameras as I can carry.

Every year in the beginning of September, a small Italian town situated a few miles from my city of Como hosts an ancient fair dedicated to the Virgin Mary: the Fair of Our Lady of Rogoredo. This series of images fresh from my darkroom was taken using a roll of HP5+ film loaded inside my wonderful Horizon Perfekt.

The story between the Spinner 360 and I goes way back to the year 2010, when Lomography decided to send me a beta model of the Spinner 360 to test. It was a complete surprise! I thought, "What the hell is that?" as I first took this camera out of the package. Then, when my little brother grabbed it from me and pulled the cord, it buzzed and turned 360°! We all had the same expression: "Whoa..."
I prefer being outdoors whenever I go on a vacation at the seaside. For this reason, I always choose to stay at a campsite instead of a hotel. The Rescued Film Project collects, develops and archives undeveloped or unwanted film from all over the world. Recently, the group acquired 31 rolls at an auction in Ohio, which, as it turns out, were from World War 1 and featured some amazing photographic footage of that time. A few months ago, Lomography made available a whole range of pinhole cameras made out of premium wood. Interested in knowing how good they are, I brought the medium format one on my last trip to Germany.
In case you missed it, Lomography has just unveiled the latest member of its Art Lens family: the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens, which boasts of the same optics that the legendary LC-A camera has and brings the classic Lomographic style not only to analog but also to the digital platform. Over the next few days we'll be sharing with you the first impressions of and photographs taken by members of the Lomography team, who had gone out and put the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 to the test.
