The resorts in Lang Tengah Island offer activities like snorkeling and diving. The sea waters surrounding the island are abundant with coral and small fishes.
Lang Tengah Island is barely patronized by people compared to the neighbouring Redang Island and Perhentian Island. There are no roads on the island to help you get around in this small island – you have to either take a speedboat, hike in the tropical jungle, swim or snorkle.
The waters surrounding Lang Tengah Island are shallow. During our visit there, we had snorkeling trips arranged by the resort. Yay!
Look how adorable the sea cucumber was! >.<
This is the seashell brought up from the bottom of the sea by our diver – the guide.
Don’t worry, we put it back into the sea after taking its picture. Please do so too to preserve the marine life when you’re there! ;) Other than that, we’ve seen schools of fishes and many corals in the sea. Too bad my Fisheye submarine was not functioning well so I didn’t get to take many underwater pictures for this trip. :( I’m so gonna get an LC-A+ Krab!
We didn’t manage to dive there as we spent comparatively a very short duration there for beach activities, swimming, relaxing, and snorkeling. We heard that encounters with turtles, resident schools of jacks and barracudas, and leopard sharks are almost assured around the tiny coral island. Nevertheless, we’ve spotted quite a few leopard sharks too while snorkeling! We definitely need more days. :) We will be back!

If you are up for it, you can play a game of chess, too, while enjoying yourself at one of the outdoor pools.
It looks like it’s time to get out the cameras and pack your bags. Of course, there’s also a ton of Lomography prizes at stake like cameras, accessories and film so that the winner can capture memories from the trip on film. And now to announce the winners!
This year, Chad aims to maintain an active LomoHome and to keep on sharing his work with others. Drawing inspiration from his fellow film photography enthusiasts and his surroundings, he explores the urban Australia with the LC-A 120 in tow
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
There are small pleasures and big pleasures. A small one, like eating a chocolate after lunch, the first day of summer after a cold spring or finally meeting that girl you see every day on your morning commute can be more satisfying than anything else. As for me, shooting live music shows with the Petzval Lens is one of those small pleasures.

Together with the team of soulbottles we want to see your most beautiful photos related to the theme 'water.' My brother had a photo exhibition last year at the North Sea Jazz Festival and got two tickets. So just like the old days with our father, we went to the Ahoy Rotterdam for an evening of jazz and other music. I was armed with an analogue SLR camera, telephoto lens, and sensitive film!
Here at Lomography, we always like looking at the creative and random photos submitted by our community members. And, amusingly, we find that there are a lot of snapshots that bear a striking resemblance to one another – be it in the way they were composed or in idea – even though they were taken in different parts of the globe!
There's a lot that you can do with a Lomo LC-A+/Lomo LC-Wide and a Krab, besides the obvious (which is take it in the water with you). Get creative by trying various angles and perspectives; you'll be surprised how a slight tilt can make a dramatic difference to your photos. Take a look at the gallery below for some inspiration!
Every summer, my soul screams for a lazy, hot day back at my parents' home, for some good food, relaxation, and catching up with childhood friends. This year is no different, so I went back down to my small hometown in the very northeast of Belgium to enjoy a perfect laid back day doing nothing and everything. And of course, I brought my analogue cameras along to eternalize all of these small but grand moments in life.
