When it comes to a F&B business, it’s always about location, location, location.

It has been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, when you’re in a rush, the next best thing is to buy something that is quick and easy to eat while heading to your destination, like your office.

Or if you’re like me, I’ll buy my breakfast the evening before. There is a bakery shop that I would pop into on my way back to work. It’s called Cake History.

I’ve been patronizing the Cake History outlet in Toa Payoh, Singapore outlet for a few years now. During this time, I’ve seen it morph into something more than just a bakery. To cater to the diverse needs of its customers, it now offers a wider range of cakes, pies, pastries, breads, sandwiches, and even has a juice bar.

Conveniently located within Toa Payoh’s Housing & Development Board’s shopping mall and open-air foyer, this shop is especially packed during the evenings when people stop to buy breakfast for the following day. During this time, the queue to pay for the items often extends out of the shop!

But the bakery’s location is not the main draw card. The outlet’s price points for its food products are also hard to beat.
