Quickie Tipster: Making Doubles

2

Doing multiple exposures is fun! Blending 2 images together to come up with a creative photo is easy if you have the 'MX' option. How about with other film cameras? Here is a quickie tipster to help you.

Photos by Oliver Morris

Multiple exposure means shooting 2 or more pictures on the same frame, so it will result in a collage. Many, if not all, Lomography cameras have this option built-in, but what happens when you don’t have one?

Shoot the first frame. Wind it to prepare for your next shot. Rewind back about a frame. This is tricky but you must learn the rotation of the rewind button. Just experiment a little bit and you’ll get the hang of it quickly. If you don’t get it right, don’t worry. Nobody’s perfect. Shoot the second exposure.
