Lomography X Tungsten 64 X-Pro: A Rose Just About to Blossom

9

Lomography X Tungsten 64 is the first tungsten film that I’ve ever tried. Having it crossed processed, what I get from the lab is a bunch of rose in pink and purple that are just about to blossom!

Tungsten film is a mystery to me.

I have never used a film with ISO 64 before, and so, just right after knowing that Lomography X Tungsten 64 has been launched to the market, I just can’t wait to get some and give it a try! I loaded it into my LC-A+ , the most trustworthy Lomo camera that I’ve ever had. As I planned to have this roll cross processed, I set the ASA of my LC-A+ as 200 and shoot.

When I get the photos back from the lab, guess what? What I’ve got is just like a bunch of pinkish purple rose that are about to blossom, and I was so amazed by the romantic feeling that the purple/pink color shift that it brings to my shots!

Another thing that I appreciate about this film is the ultra fine grain that it gives and its ability to illustrate every little detail in the resulting shot, so that you won’t miss anything that you would like to include in your photo. These qualities still retain even when the film is cross processed and when shooting under low light conditions. In addition, highly saturated color together with high contrast makes the resulting images look gorgeous!

This film sounds (and looks?) extraordinarily attractive, right? Why not get yourself a pack of Lomography X Tungsten 64 now and start your romantic Lomo adventure right the way? Don’t hesitate anymore as stock of this film is limited; so, act now before it’s too late!

Who says film is dead? Lomography’s got its very own emulsions to keep the fire burning! Visit the "Shop:http://shop.lomography.com/films/lomography-film and see which Lomography film is right for you.

@dearjme: Thanks a lot! ISO set at 200 without using tripod or cable release! amazing right? all I need to do is just holding my beloved LCA+ with my hands!

the night shots are in bulb mode?

@kaiarmor: with its brilliant auto exposure feature, actually, I don't need to worry about whether I should take the N or B mode...my LC-A+ does the calculation and what I need to do (when shooting at night) is to hold the shutter down and wait for the second "click" sound before I let go the shutter :)
