Peaches Geldof, Bip Ling and Bonnie Wright at London Fashion Week

1

The chaps from 1883 Mag took a fully loaded LC-A+ to London Fashion Week, and captured some pretty mega (and mega pretty) people!

1883 Writer Lewis Taylor hanging with his best bud Peaches

For some reason I got loads of media attention, on reflection I think it’s probably because I’m only bloody best friends with Peaches Geldof. From the entourage of epileptic camera flashes I could see a drag queen with a light-up dead crow in its weave, looking over to us, well jel. Peaches and I have this connection, I’m sorry, we just do.

With Bip Ling

Everyone in the office knows I have an annoying desperate longing to be Bip Ling. I am well on my way

with Susie Bubble
with Bonnie Wright
with Brix Smith Start

This is Brix. She told me I was a dream, now whenever I see her we give each other a high five. She said that she never goes online to see what people write, but on the occasion that she might, Brix babe, call me.

A Day with the LC-A: From the Bus, Como (My Tribute to Robert Frank)

In 1958 the great photographer Robert Frank took a series of images of New York's street life with a Leica camera from a bus window, as in these series of photos that I took in my city Como with my trusty Lomo LC-A loaded with a Kodak Tri-X film. Nothing Happens on Color Film: Street Life in Como As Seen From the Bus

Some weeks ago, I made a tribute to the great photographer Robert Frank and his 1958 black and white series taken in New York from a bus window. He is the master of the ordinary moments, capturing the essence of daily life in a series of free and random sequence of photos where nothing important happens! And as I've written there I wanted to take a similar experiment with color film, which would change the perception of the environment where people live. Read more after the jump!

It’s normal during summer to be out there at the beach, sunbathing and getting yourself a nice tan, but in Malaysia, it could get pretty hot this time of the year.
