Paros is one of the biggest islands of the Cyclades. My friend and I spent most of our time in the island's capital Parikia where we arrived with the ferry from Piraeus. It's a nice town with cute little streets, all in the typical white and blue, and nice shops and restaurants.

Along the beach you can find the usual tourist restaurants but if you want to eat more exclusively you should move away from the beach into the town. There is especially one very amazing vegetarian restaurant (though for the meat-eaters there are also some chicken meals), the Happy Green Cows. It’s decorated creatively, including a cow shrine and the meals have names like Cow’s Orgasm. It’s definitely worth a visit and a good enough reason for me to go back to Paros. In Parikia the streets have no names, so just ask for it.
We also visited Naoussa, a town in the north of the island that is famous for its wine. You can reach it easily from Parikia by bus. On Paros’ sister island Antiparos there is a very nice cave that is said to have been visited by Lord Byron and several other famous people. Many visitors have left messages and signatures on the stones in the cave, some dating back to the 19th century.
This is a tribute to one of the most famous French social and street photographers, Robert Doisneau. During his life he was able to capture many little moments of everyday Parisian life with humanity and grace. His photos, full of poetry and humor, tell the ordinary life in the suburbs of the big French capital, away from the richest central areas of the city. Read more after the jump!
The 2015 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on June 6. It is a place full of history and is also the only football stadium with a blue track course. Some say it is the most beautiful stadium in the world, and I totally agree with them. But then agai,n I might be biased because it is the home court of my favorite team, Hertha BSC Berlin—my blue-white bloodline.

You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
In the third installment of his travel series, lomographer Andrea Russo recalls their experiences during the sixth day of their stay in Iceland - seeing massive blue and white icebergs at the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, petting Icelandic ponies, having a chance, up-close encounter with wild reindeer, and witnessing a breathtaking show of the aurora borealis.
