Introduced a year ago, the instax cameras have quickly become a hit among Lomographers - but what have you shot during the last couple of months?
“Yes” seems to be the word that has been hitting the headlines lately, except for President Obama and his campaign slogan, “yes we can” – Jim Carrey has also been saying a lot of “yes” lately in his new movie, Yes Man ! But what does this have to do with instax cameras, or Lomography for that matter?
It turns out that except for saying “yes” in his movie Carrey and his girlfriend Zooey Deschanel also like to take photographs and not just any photographs – they can be seen having fun with an instax camera!
What about you? How have you spent the first weeks of 2009? Hopefully with a “yes” attitude and lots of instax snapshots! If yes(!), here is your chance to prove to others that life is good, and that by saying “yes” one come a long way!

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I celebrated Hari Raya after a month of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. I backed the Kickstarter project for the Lomo’Instant earlier this year and was thrilled to receive it last week. Here are a few tips from what I’ve discovered from playing with the camera so far (and a couple of tips I want to try out in future)!
Lomography has announced that shipping of the Lomo’Instant will begin in December, but if you want to use a lomographic instant camera with an interchangeable lens system, among other possibilities immediately, you should try the Diana F+ Instant Camera!

I've always wanted to have an instant camera, but what put me off were the expensive price of the film and the transience of the photos. But then I wasn't able to fight it any longer and bought myself an Instax Wide 210 set. Now, here is a review of the Fuji Instax Wide film.
Recently, we’ve been digging through all our LC-A 120 negatives from when we first started testing the new camera. During this search, we had our very own finding Vivian Maier moment when we unearthed a bunch of photos shot by the super-talented dopic whilst he was on vacation in Japan last year. We totally love these shots and couldn’t resist sharing them with you!
Just recently I asked myself why I would want to write about a film like the Fuji Instax Mini, because usually this film is the only one available for Fuji Instax cameras. But then it hit me! It can be an alternative to many other instant films, since I can load almost any film into my Diana F+, other medium and 135 format cameras, and of course the Fuji Instax Mini.
