5 Questions on Analogue Photography with Althena

5 Questions on Analogue Photography with…" we send out the same set of questions to photographers. This time, Althena – a relationship manager and a friend from Malaysia – answered these and sent along a selection of her work.

Name: Althena
Occupation: Relationship Manager
Country: Malaysia

1. Tell us about yourself in three sentences maximum?
I am an ordinary girl who always wishes to get out from the country with my camera.

Althena

2. Why do you still shoot analogue?
I do not like things to be taken for granted. When you realise you cannot preview the moment of life, every shot you take is going to be more meaningful and cherished.

3. What photographic equipment (cameras, films, and accessories) do you usually have in your bag?
LC-A+ and Fuji Instax Mini.

4. Share a trick of yours that will always result to a great photo.
Don’t be afraid to ask: Can I take a photo of you?

5. Which photographers influence your work?
Every photo tells a different story. So does every photographer.

Thanks to Lihwa for taking the time to answer these questions! Perhaps you would like to get some inspirations at this site she recommended.
