We are looking for the best LC-A photographer of the year - don't waste another moment - go find your three best LC-A shots taken in 2008 and enter your chances to win any LC-A accessory of your choice along with Lomography pride and honor!

Is it You, You or YOU? This is THE definitive LC-A rumble as we’re giving out a high-stake prize – the winner gets to choose a LC-A Accessory of his/her liking!

Not only that, your prestigious win will be featured on the 25th Anniversary site of the legendary LC-A camera!

Does it mean that the submitted shots are only from 2008, I presume?? Sounds logic if it's the Lomographer of the year 2008, but it isn't said in the contest details.... because my choice can be different of course if I limit my submissions to the year 2008 or if I take some of 2009....

  17. lomosexual_manboy

I hear ya Vicuna, I would think the pics would need to be taken in 2008.

Yeah, it's written in the introduction (but which doesn't appear there in the post): it's the best selection of 3 shots "taken in 2008", so here are my 3 submissions (tried to select some "new" ones, not already submitted shots...):
    - A double shot full of lights taken during the "Tollwood festival" in Munich (december 2008)
    - A portrait of a Kid taken in Burkina Faso (November 2008
    - Japanese sailors in Monaco looking at the view (July 2008)

it has been a really tough to decidere which picture i should have posted. i tought i had to follow some principle that could someway relate the 3 pics, or just post 3 samples of my work, like one with flash, a portrait and a generic open air one. that's what i did. i hope you fellows will like them.

Analogue Archives: The Chakras of Colorsplashing, Revisited

Chances are you've seen plenty of color-drenched photographs while browsing through the Photos section. Faces painted blue, pets tinted green, and foliage splashed with pink light. It's called "Colorsplashing," one of Lomography's earliest techniques for giving your shots a quick color boost. We dug through the Lomography archives to revisit "The Chakras of Colorsplashing," a special project created by Lomography and Staple Design six years ago.
